Medical Director
James Pace Clayton, M.D. was born and raised in NYC and studied neuropsychology before attending medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NYC. He completed his residency training at the University of Connecticut in Family Medicine and subsequently did post-graduate training in both Emergency Medicine and Dermatology.
Dr. Clayton practiced Emergency Medicine for several years in the Northeast before relocating to the USVI and starting both Cruz Bay and Red Hook Family Practices.
James is married to Lee Eng Khauv, an accomplished Impressionist painter, who's work can be seen in our offices as well as at the Westin Resort St. John. When not working or studying advances in Medicine, James enjoys sailing, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and adventure motorcycling.
James can be seen at either the Red Hook or Cruz Bay offices and has special interests and expertise in:
