After earning a Doctorate of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Anderson completed his training in Family Medicine at the US Naval Hospitals in Charleston, SC and Bremerton, WA. He served as a US Navy physician and flight surgeon for two decades before retiring as a Navy Captain with over 30 years of military service.
Dr. Anderson is Board certified in Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has additional training and experience in Emergency, Diving, Aerospace and Travel Medicine.
Dr. Anderson also has a Master of Public Health degree in International Health from Tulane University and a PhD in Physics.
