Veronica was born, raised and educated in Brooklyn, New York. After finishing nursing school, she joined the Peace Corps and served in the Middle Eastern nation of Yemen for three years. When she returned, she attended the Midwifery School at SUNY Health Center in New York. She moved to the U.S. Virgin Islands in 1981 and began her practice here, which has spanned all aspects of womens healthcare services. She presently works at the Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Center and at Red Hook Family Practice, specializing in the areas of womens health and wellness.

- Urgent / Emergency Medical Care for gynecological problems
- Routine Physical Examinations for women beginning at puberty
