Richard Beevers, N.P. grew up in Norman, Oklahoma. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.A. in Physical Education. He first worked at several schools in central Oklahoma as a teacher/coach and athletic trainer. Then he worked as a licensed athletic trainer for the University of Oklahoma as well as for a professional hockey team and with the professional Bullriders tour.

He became a Registered Nurse in 2003 and worked in the emergency department and as a flight nurse for a helicopter ambulance service.

Richard graduated in 2011 with his Masters of Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has since worked in several emergency and urgent care centers in Oklahoma. In addition he has worked in clinics providing weight loss and hormone replacement therapy services.

Richard has a special interest in sports medicine and human performance. He enjoys reading, sailing and pirate history
