UPDATED OFFICE PROTOCOL
Due to COVID-19, Red Hook Family Practice PC is maximizing safety measures to protect our patients and staff. Your safety is our priority. Please be sure to wear a mask whilst in our facilities.
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete our screening process and any relevant paperwork.
Any patient who has symptoms of COVID 19 (vaccinated or not) we may need to administer a COVID Antigen test prior to being seen by our Providers. Or we can change the appointment to a Telemedicine appointment with our Providers.
Due to the official end of the pandemic on May 11, 2023, COVID-19 tests administered may not be covered by the insurance companies and are not covered by Medicare. For patients who are self-paying or for those insurers who do not cover the test, there is a $50 charge for the COVID test if it is required to see the provider.
We wish to protect our patients and staff to allow us to continue caring for our community. We thank you for your support and cooperation.
COVID 19 TESTING
We offer COVID-19 antigen testing at our Red Hook clinic between 8 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

COVID ANTIBODY TESTING
COVID antibody testing is not available.
COVID-19 VACCINATIONS
We no longer administer the COVID vaccine or will be administering the new COVID bivalent booster.
Any eligible individual who would like a COVID-19 vaccine can contact the Department of Health, Walgreens in St. Thomas, Island Health & Wellness in St. John, or call the COVID-19 Vaccine Hotline at 340 777 VACS (8227).
