Veronica was born, raised and educated in Brooklyn, New York.  After finishing nursing school, she joined the Peace Corps and served in the Middle Eastern nation of Yemen for three years.  When she returned, she attended the Midwifery School at SUNY Health Center in New York.  She moved to the U.S. Virgin Islands in 1981 and began her practice here, which has spanned all aspects of womens healthcare services.  She retired after 30 years as a nurse midwife at the Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Center and now works at our Red Hook and Cruz Bay Family Practice clinics, specializing in the areas of women's health and wellness.

 

Veronica provides the following Womens Health services:

• Full medical care for every age woman including adolescents

• Preventive Medical Care

• Urgent / Emergency Medical Care for gynecological problems

• Routine Physical Examinations for women beginning at puberty

• School / Sports Physical Examinations

• Prenatal Care
